Eligibility Criteria

Advanced (C1) German and advanced English language skills
Bachelor student graduating in 2027 or 2028 OR
Master student graduating in 2028 OR
Gap Year between your bachelor and masters degree
Less than 12 months of full-time relevant work experience (excluding internships)
Availability for a full-time 3 – 6 month internship; see start date for more details

Start Date

This internship is available for a length of between 3 and 6 months, starting on any date between mid February and mid July 2027.

Please note that the internship must continue until at least 11 June 2027, as it includes supporting DWS’s Annual General Meeting on 3 June 2027.

About the DWS Internship

The DWS Internship offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experiences through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events. With strong support from mentors and managers, you will be challenged to grow while gaining valuable insights into the world of Asset Management. This is an excellent way to determine whether a career in Financial Services & Asset Management meets your personal aspirations.

Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. Program the following year.

About the Team

Join our team at the center of DWS, supporting senior leadership and key decision-making processes. The Corporate Office team manages board and committee activities, helps shape governance standards, and works on strategic projects such as legal entity management and regulatory engagement. We offer broad exposure to the inner workings of a global financial institution, coupled with meaningful responsibility and direct insight into senior governance and decision-making processes.

As our DWS Intern, you will:

Support the preparation and execution of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 3 June 2027. This will be your core project for your internship.
Assist in coordinating Executive Board, Operating Committee, and Legal Entity Board meetings, including agenda setup and material preparation
Contribute to corporate governance processes by helping maintain high-quality documentation and supporting efficient meeting conduct
Participate in governance and legal entity projects, gaining exposure to strategic initiatives alongside ongoing business-as-usual activities
Work closely with the Corporate Office team to ensure transparency, consistency, and effective management of key governance topics across the organization

The Team is looking for:

Advanced (C1) German and advanced English language skills
Good proficiency in MS Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
Solid organizational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail
Proactive and curious mindset, reliability, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, senior stakeholder environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
