This internshipfocuses on the design and evaluation of silicon photonic optical interconnectsfor hyperscale GPU clusters, targeting high-bandwidth GPU-to-GPU data transfer.The work will investigate end-to-end photonic link architectures forultra-high-baud-rate optical transmitters and receivers, with an emphasis onrealistic system-level modeling and performance evaluation. In addition, thestudent will explore and develop novel figures of merit that accurately capturelink performance, scalability, and system limitations.
