We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Agent B2B (m/f/d) to join our Team BENELUX, based in Berlin. With persistence, strong communication skills and a positive mindset, you will ensure our invoices are paid within approved payment terms - keeping our receivables healthy and our customers well-managed.

Ideally, you bring some experience in accounting, finance, or credit control - but candidates with a commercial/business apprenticeship (e.g. office management, banking (m/f/d)) and a strong affinity for numbers are equally welcome.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of B2B customers, acting as their primary point of contact for all accounts receivable matters
  • Ensure invoices are collected within approved payment terms, proactively reducing outstanding balances
  • Be measured against clear performance KPIs, directly contributing to the success of Team Germany
  • Handle all customer communication and dunning processes (phone, email, and letter), maintaining a professional and solution-focused approach even in challenging conversations
  • Reconcile and clarify customer accounts with accuracy and ownership - no detail slips through your net
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments as well as external partners and service providers, acting as a reliable point of contact at all levels
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and actively contribute ideas to optimize our workflows

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

  • A completed commercial/business apprenticeship or several years of experience in a comparable role
  • Persistence and assertiveness - you don't give up until a solution is found, while keeping the customer relationship intact
  • A sharp eye for detail: numbers need to add up, and you immediately notice when they don't
  • A solution-oriented mindset: challenges are just the first step toward a better outcome
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders, in both Dutch (C2 level) and English , German is a plus
  • A positive, motivated attitude that energizes those around you
  • An efficient, thorough and self-driven working style, with the ability to prioritize in a KPI-driven environment
  • Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
